본명은 윈스턴 레너드 스펜서 처칠 (Winston Leonard Spencer Churchill).
영국의 제61대·63대 총리. 제2차 세계 대전 당시의 영국 총리이며 엘리자베스 2세 시대의 첫 영국 총리입니다.
1953년에 노벨 문학상까지 거머쥐었습니다. 그는 살아생전에 43종, 72권의 책을 출간했으며, 신문과 잡지를 통해 1천여 개의 글을 기고했습니다.
